8 Rows Ready at H.O.P.E. Garden

There are now 8 rows at the H.O.P.E. garden ready to plant.
The tops of the rows just need to be knocked down until there is a planting bed about 6 to 8 inches high and transplants or seed put in place. Keep in mind recommended spacing when planting. Placing plants to close will reduce yields and make management more difficult. Maybe before long the H.O.P.E. garden will look as good as the project in the photo. It is a garden Vida worked with a few years back. I think it would benefit HOPE to have a record of the hour of volunteer time put in on the garden. Could we note them on this blog? I have put in 6. My guess is that Keith has about that. There are nice beds but no plants yet. The average last frost in the area form 1900 to 1950 was March 25 and from 50 to 2000 it was March 15. Planting time is at hand.
