In conjunction with the the Texas Forestry Service, Master Gardeners assisted with the inauguration of the demonstration garden and celebrated the dedication of the Ruth Bolling Nichols Arboretum. Members were on hand to point out and discuss the historic trees in the arboretum and to answer questions about the garden.Local dignitaries including Mrs. Nichols son Senator Robert Nichols participated in the ceremony.
A beautiful day contributed to the excellent attendance by community members.
